“I met the team at Montecito Building working on a rather larger job in Montecito earlier this year. During the course of the project, they navigated working with a very particular client through two different General Contractors as an Owner’s Rep. Their capacity as the Owner’s Representative and Project Superintendent was our collective stability. Their consistency, trustworthiness, reliability and dependability kept the job moving forward and was instrumental in our success. They helped make sure that all the build team, Architect, Designers and Engineers were all coordinated and always up to date. Their experience in navigating roadblocks and setbacks combined with leadership of the team is invaluable. They have no ego to call myself or someone on my team if they needed help with a situation any confronted any obstacles with grace, knowledge and confidence. They are truly team players that are not scared of a bruised ego! I highly recommend working with anyone from their team. Their ability to get things done in timely manner and on budget is instrumental in a projects success. I can’t say enough good things about them.”
“I have known Nora and the members of this team for over 15 years and have worked with them personally and professionally - we have developed a great friendship. Their team has experience navigating the frustrating process of Santa Barbara County building permits and are people I would implicitly trust to use as an owner’s rep or contractor for my projects if I still lived in town. To date they have also been people there to always lend a helping hand to me or anyone in my family and I would 100% trust them in helping me navigate quality labor and subs for a home remodel. They know how much things should cost and how long they should take which is crucial in ensuring things get done on time and on budget. Piece this together with their excellent management skills that have allowed them to run successful businesses with numerous employees and independent and sub-contractors. Being able to coordinate people and tasks day to day and keep track of the big picture is a rare skill and Nora and their team all have it - I highly recommend working with Montecito Building.”
“This letter is intended to provide a recent working reference for Montecito Building. Our company recently had the opportunity to work on a 10,000sf project being managed by team MB here in Montecito. They managed 20+ workers; making sure crews were showing up, parking was available, job site was ready, and any questions were answered quickly. This particular project, like most, was being driven heavily by a timeline and they were knowledgeable enough to create a good workflow for all the trades, and someone from the team was consistently present from start to finish. As a flooring subcontractor I find that, more often than not, I am scheduled to come in and the job site isn’t actually ready. I have several trades walking all over my finished floors. Montecito Building impressed me by how they could take all the crews they had and find work that needed to be complete in a very efficient way for not only the contractor but for the subcontractors. Their team was a pleasure to communicate with and ultimately made you want to show up and do a great job - a great blend of being persistent without being a bother. My installers all enjoyed working their team. They would be a great addition to any home project.”
“Bryce Rosenthal managed my six-month remodel project and was an outstanding contractor to work with. His communication skills and management skills made it easy for me to know exactly where we were in the project at all times. He kept on schedule and outlined which subs would be working when. If I had a question or concern he either had the answer right away or would contact someone who did. He gave me options and input that took the project to a higher level. Even with a very wet winter, he was able to finish the project right on time. I couldn’t be happier with the end result. It’s better than I had imagined it would be. I highly recommend Bryce as a contractor for your next project. You will not be disappointed.”
